St. George, Utah, December 13, 2005 – SkyWest Airlines, wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ:SKYW) is humbled to present Hurricane Katrina relief to employees of its sister carrier, Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA), on December 14, 2005 in Gulfport, Mississippi.

The relief package totals more than $202,000. The amount reflects a 100 percent SkyWest Airlines match of donated employee paid time off hours and monetary donations. The relief will assist nearly forty ASA families.

“Our workforce response to the call for relief was overwhelming to say the least,” said Necia Clark-Mantle, SkyWest Airlines vice president of people. “We have all been touched by this collective desire to assist those who were affected by this terrible tragedy.”

All 33 employees of the ASA Gulfport station were deeply affected by Katrina, some losing virtually everything. Six other ASA employees living in the Gulf coast region were similarly impacted.

With corporate representatives from both tiers of the SkyWest, Inc. alliance, Necia Clark-Mantle will present SkyWest, Inc. relief funds totaling more than $218,000. The official presentation will be December 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.

From our 9,000-plus employees across 38 states, we wish the best for those affected by Hurricane Katrina. May the holidays be merry and the rebuilding effort quick.
