ST. GEORGE, Utah, September 24, 2004 – SkyWest Airlines (NASDAQ: SKYW) is
pleased to announce Beverley Mendez as Chief Flight Attendant based at San
Francisco International Airport. She will oversee a total of 190 SkyWest Flight
Attendants based in Sacramento, Monterey and Fresno, California and Portland,
Oregon.
Beverley began her career at SkyWest Airlines as a flight attendant in 1999. As
an instructor since October of 2000, Beverley has acquired valuable leadership and
teamwork skills. Her experience working with and educating new-hire Flight Attendants
on SkyWest’s Initial Operating Experience helped prepare her for the promotion to Chief
Flight Attendant.

and soul into everything she does.”
Active in her community, Beverley has volunteered and served in several
community vocations, overseeing public functions, fundraisers and events.
She looks forward to helping the Flight Attendant group succeed at SkyWest by
cultivating a positive and productive environment.
Beverley moved to the United States from Guam and has been a resident of the
San Francisco Bay area for more than 35 years. She and her husband Robert currently
live in San Francisco, and have two daughters who reside in Florida and in Sacramento.
