ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 30, 2004 -- SkyWest Airlines (NASDAQ: SKYW) is happy to invite Continental Connection passengers to leave their cars at the Killeen Municipal Airport and fly into the new, larger Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport. Beginning August 2, 2004, all airport operations will move from the Killeen Municipal Airport to the new terminal.

Passengers will benefit the most from the new airport. From new highways leading to the terminal building to the wireless network throughout the facility, passengers are in for a pleasant, efficient experience. Passengers can email anywhere in the terminal on the wireless network system, grab a bite to eat and shop for souvenirs in the retail area before checking in through state-of-the-art security. In-line baggage screening provides quick, easy bag processing, and common use boarding gates allow passengers to check in at any gate.

“I would personally like to congratulate Killeen on their incredible new airport,” said Jerry Atkin, SkyWest Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. “This is an exciting time for the community and we’re honored to be involved in this occasion. Passengers will undoubtedly enjoy the new facility for years to come as they fly to Continental’s Houston Hub.”

SkyWest staffs Killeen with 11 customer service employees to handle the six daily flights between Killeen and Continental’s largest hub, George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Once in Houston, passengers have access to Continental’s worldwide route network which offers more than 550 daily departures to 157 nonstop destinations in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

SkyWest would also like to notify passengers that Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport will use a new airport code, GRK, which will replace the previous code, ILE.

SkyWest Airlines was named the Number One On-Time Airline in the United States by the Department of Transportation for 2003, a year in which they carried 10.7 million passengers. System-wide, SkyWest has approximately 6,800 employees and serves a total of 116 cities in 32 states and three Canadian provinces with more than 1,300 daily departures.
