ST. GEORGE, Utah, July 30, 2004 -- SkyWest Airlines (NASDAQ: SKYW) is happy to celebrate its one year anniversary of Continental Connection service in Waco, Texas. Waco became the third of SkyWest’s 10 markets to receive Continental Connection service to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport on August 1, 2003.

SkyWest’s Waco team of nine customer service employees is led by experienced Station Manager Debra Van Cleef. Deb began her airline career in Waco in 1994 and transferred to Killeen in 2002, working for Continental Express carrier ExpressJet. When SkyWest assumed Killeen operations in 2003, Deb was hired as the first Station Manager for SkyWest’s new Continental Connection operation. Earlier this year, she returned to her airline roots in Waco as Station Manager.

“Deb has been instrumental in the successful launch of our Continental Connection operation,” said Greg Burton, SkyWest’s Continental Connection Regional Director. “Her 10 years of Continental experience has proved invaluable, especially as we opened our first market in Killeen last year. Deb contributed her Continental expertise to all of the eight markets opening later last year. She will no doubt continue to help cultivate the Waco market, effectively delivering the superb customer service passengers have come to enjoy.”

Waco currently enjoys three round trip flights a day to Continental Airline’s largest hub, George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Once in Houston, passengers have access to Continental’s worldwide route network – offering more than 550 daily departures to 157 nonstop destinations in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia. In addition to the many benefits of flying to Houston, Waco passengers enjoy:

    • Free parking
    • Efficient check-in and security
    • Earning miles on Continental’s frequent flyer program, OnePass

SkyWest Airlines was named the Number One On-Time Airline in the United States by the Department of Transportation for 2003, a year in which they carried 10.7 million passengers. System-wide, SkyWest has approximately 6,800 employees and serves a total of 116 cities in 31 states and three Canadian provinces with more than 1,300 daily departures.
