TEXARKANA, Arkansas - Texas, September 30, 2003 – SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW), is excited to kickoff inaugural Continental Connection service to Houston Intercontinental Airport tomorrow, October 1, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration. SkyWest will join with civic and community leaders at the Texarkana Regional Airport at 12:00 PM. The airline will offer three round trip flights a day to Continental Airlines’ largest hub. To support this new air service, SkyWest will staff the airport with approximately 10 new local jobs.

“We’re excited that the business community and the residents of Texarkana now have access to another international airport,” said Jim Cherry, President of the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce. “SkyWest has shown their commitment to our community by making it affordable to get to Houston with a great introductory fare. SkyWest’s product is second to none, and I am confident that passengers will enjoy their incredible service.”

In addition to the Fly Local Fares!, Texarkana passengers will enjoy convenient parking and short lines for check-in and security. Once in Houston, passengers can connect to more than 140 destinations offered through Continental’s worldwide system. Passengers to Houston will also earn frequent flyer miles for Continental’s OnePass program. To book reservations, passengers can call their local travel agent, Continental Reservations at 800.523.3273, or book online at www.continental.com.
