ABILENE, Texas, September 2, 2003 – SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW), is excited to announce that their inaugural Continental Connection service to Houston Intercontinental Airport begins today. SkyWest will offer three round trip flights a day to Continental Airlines largest hub. To support this new air service, SkyWest will staff the airport with approximately 10 new local jobs.

“The return of air service to Houston is a positive step in the right direction for our community,” said Grady Barr, Mayor of the City of Abilene and Chair of the Abilene Air Service Task Force. “SkyWest is a quality carrier and will offer Abilene passengers unmatched service. Their introductory fare to Houston is proof of their dedication to serve our community well. We look forward to long, productive relationship with SkyWest.”
