SkyWest Airlines Offers Fly Local Fares! Between Abilene and Houston Intercontinental for $99 Each Way

ABILENE, Texas, August 7, 2003 – SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW), is excited to announce an introductory Fly Local Fare! of $99 each way between Abilene and Houston Intercontinental Airport, connecting passengers to 148 Continental Airlines destinations worldwide. SkyWest will begin operating as a Continental Connection in Abilene on September 1. To support this new air service, SkyWest will staff the airport with approximately 12 new local jobs.

SkyWest signed a code-sharing agreement with Continental on May 19, 2003. On July 1, SkyWest began operating as a Continental Connection carrier providing service to passengers from Houston to Killeen, Texas. SkyWest has announced several other Texas communities that will benefit from the new code-sharing relationship between SkyWest and Continental.

SkyWest Airlines is the nation's largest independently operated regional carrier and carried 8.23 million passengers last year. SkyWest operates as Continental Connection, Delta Connection and United Express carriers under marketing agreements with Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines respectively.
