BAKERSFIELD, Calif, August 18, 2003 – SkyWest Airlines,
a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW), is pleased to be
celebrating 20 successful years of air service in Bakersfield.
Bakersfield has played a significant role in SkyWest’s
history. The community has seen SkyWest evolve from flying under
their own banner to flying as Delta Connection and the present
United Express. SkyWest currently has 13 local employees at the
Meadows Field Airport.
“It's hard to believe that SkyWest has been serving Bakersfield
for 20 years,” said SkyWest Bakersfield Station Manager
Janine Kotek. “Although times have changed and we have grown,
there is still one thing that you can count on, the quality service
that people have come to expect when they travel with SkyWest.
We thank the Meadows Field administration and the community for
making this possible.”
SkyWest reminds you to Fly Bakersfield First as they offer passengers
