HOUSTON, August 14, 2003 – SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary
of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW) is pleased to announce the appointment
of Greg Burton to Regional Director in Houston. Greg’s region
will cover SkyWest’s Continental Connection markets in the
Texas Communities of Abilene, College Station, Killeen, San Angelo,
Tyler, Texarkana, Victoria, and Waco, as well as in Monroe Louisiana.
In his new position, Greg will be responsible for overseeing
the customer service and operational aspect of SkyWest’s
new partnership with Continental Airlines. As SkyWest forms a
new hub at Houston Intercontinental Airport and out stations in
nine communities, Greg will also responsible for the approximately
100 new customer service jobs created as a result of this partnership.
Greg comes to his new position highly qualified. He has more
than seven years of experience working for SkyWest having joined
the airline in 1996 as a customer service agent. Greg quickly
moved up the ranks being promoted to Northwest Regional Director
within a matter of years. He then transferred to Denver and helped
SkyWest establish its United Express hub there in 2001.

had successfully opened another hub for us just two years ago.
