TYLER, Texas, August 13, 2003 – SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary
of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW) will begin service between Tyler
and Houston on Friday, August 15. A press conference and ribbon
cutting ceremony will be held at the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport
on Friday, August 15, at 9:00 a.m. with Mayor Joey Seeber in attendance.
In addition to Mayor Seeber, Susan Cloud, SkyWest’s recently
appointed Station Manager will be on hand to meet the public.
In her new position, Susan will be responsible for the customer
service and daily operations for SkyWest in Tyler as she oversees
a team of eight local employees.
Susan’s airline career began with Metro Airlines right
here in Tyler, where she served as a lead agent and gained a great
love for the airline industry. In 1990 she joined SkyWest as a
Regional Sales Manager and has also worked in various customer
service managerial positions in numerous SkyWest cities. Most
recently, Susan has worked as a Flight Attendant.
“Susan’s aviation career began in Tyler, so it’s
fitting that she returns as our first Station Manager,”
said Greg Burton, SkyWest’s Regional Director in Houston.
“Susan will be able to ensure that SkyWest customer’s
experience exceeds their expectations. Those who fly to Houston

Susan’s presence in Tyler.”
