ST. GEORGE, Utah, October 13, 2003 – SkyWest Airlines,
a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW) is excited to be
recognized by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) as the
number one on-time domestic airline in their monthly Air Travel
Consumer Report. SkyWest has finished atop the list six out of
the last seven months. For August, 89.8 percent of SkyWest flights
arrived on-time.

SkyWest was added by the DOT to their Air Travel Consumer Report
in January of 2003. The report tracks 17 domestic air carriers’
performance on a monthly basis. SkyWest is one of only five regional
airlines included on the report.
