SkyWest Airlines operates flights on behalf of United Airlines (as United Express), Delta Air Lines (as Delta Connection), US Airways (as US Airways Express operated by SkyWest), American Airlines (as American Eagle) and Alaska Airlines (as Alaska Airlines operated by SkyWest Airlines). SkyWest does not perform any reservation or ticketing functions. Instead, these are provided by our partners. Each airline intends to offer customers who contact their reservations systems via telephone, at airport ticket counters, or their online reservation systems, the lowest published fare for which customers are eligible for the date, flight and class of service requested.

Upon request, SkyWest will advise you if a flight is oversold, and we will provide our policies and procedures for denied boarding. If you are denied boarding, you will be booked on the next available flight to your original destination and will be compensated in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. SkyWest will treat passengers who are denied boarding due to oversales with fairness and consistency, in accordance with DOT regulations and our airlines partners' policies and procedures.

In the event of a canceled or misconnected flight, SkyWest intends to do everything possible to mitigate our customers' inconveniences in accordance with our major partners' policies and procedures.
SkyWest trains and expects customer service agents to do everything possible to minimize your inconveniences when flight schedules are interrupted. We will do our best to keep you informed about the status of your flight when there is an operational irregularity. We will provide meal and overnight accommodations when flights are canceled due to factors within our control such as mechanical, station or flight crew issues. In the event of a lengthy tarmac delay (more than two hours) or flight diversion, we will provide water and snacks, and ensure basic needs are met. In some cases, ground transportation to your final destination, in lieu of air travel, may be included.
