PILOT - INTERVIEW PROCESS

The interview process may include three phases:

1.  If the applicant has a current ATP written, no written exam will be necessary (please bring a copy of your results to the interview). If not, a written test which includes 50 questions taken from the ATP test standards guide will be administered.
2.  Simulator observation. This takes place in an ATC 810 or a Frasca 142 simulator where the applicant will be expected to demonstrate appropriate skills.
3.  CRM Scenario. The applicant demonstrates his/her ability to perform in a 121 airline environment.
4.  The Interview. This phase will cover everything from HR questions, and items including, but not limited to, Jepp knowledge, FAR's, wx, systems, CRM, etc.

In any event where the candidate does not successfully complete any phase satisfactorily, they will be released at that time and may reapply in six months.

Even though SkyWest is not hiring pilots and will not be reviewing applications until hiring resumes, individuals interested in joining our team of professional pilots may apply or update their existing applications via AirlineApps.com. Applications for employment as a SkyWest pilot must be submitted through AirlineApps.com. Applications may be submitted free of charge, though a fee may be charged if you wish to join AirlineApps as a member for added features. If you are already a member of the AirlineApps system, sign in to your account and add SkyWest to your target listing. New users can create an account to begin the application process.

You are required to have an online application filled out prior to attending an interview. Please check back periodically for confirmation. When coming to an interview bring your resume and copy of your current First Class medical, pilot license, drivers license and passport. Attending a Career Fair is not required to receive an invitation to an interview.
