Internship Program SkyWest Airlines internships provide students with valuable hands-on training in their fields of study. With this valuable work experience, students gain enhanced knowledge and understanding of the industry. An internship with SkyWest provides interns with a better understanding and valuable experience in their fields of study. It also provides them with an opportunity to make a “trial run” with SkyWest. Interns have an opportunity to demonstrate initiative, abilities, and skills. |

Duration of Internship
Internships generally last a period equivalent to one college quarter or semester. Occasionally, internships can be shorter or longer, depending on the student's schedule. Pilot Intern Requirements • Must be a junior or senior. • 250 total hours of flight time. • Commercial Pilot's license • CFI a plus. General Requirements • Enrolled in an accredited college or university. • Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Interns Receive: 1. Unlimited flight privileges on SkyWest Flights during the course of internship. (There is a fee required for 'personal use' travel. There is no fee for travel associated with company business.) 2. Opportunity to familiarize themselves with the airline industry. 3. Valuable hands-on experience.
