After you successfully complete Initial New Hire training, you are guaranteed 75 flight hours as a reserve, whether you fly 1 hour or 75 hours, you are paid for 75 flight hours. The gross pay figures below are based on a 75 flight hour guarantee per month.

In addition, you are paid $1.65 per diem for every hour you are on duty away from your domicile. On average this is an additional $3,600 per year.
Line holder schedules average 87 flight hours per month. Line holders may drop or trade some assigned trips although they must fly a minimum of 62.5 flight hours per month. |
