A: "Non-contract" markets mean that SkyWest is responsible for the marketing, advertising, inventory control and revenue for a market. SkyWest's partners (whether AirTran, Delta or United) pay SkyWest an agreed-upon amount per flight departure with incentives for on-time performance, baggage handling and completed flights.
