BOMBARDIER |
| |
The relationship between
SkyWest Airlines and Bombardier Aerospace dates back to
1987, when the Regional Jet Division of Canadian aircraft
manufacturer Canadair Ltd. began soliciting orders for
it’s new and radical Canadair Regional Jet. SkyWest
took delivery of their first regional jet from Bombardier
in 1994 and currently operates a fleet of more than 200 jets. |

| DELTA AIR LINES |
| |
1987 marked SkyWest’s
15-year anniversary, and kicked off SkyWest’s relationship
with Delta Air Lines. Delta played a tremendous role in
SkyWest's success – giving SkyWest
its bearings on how a “real airline”
operates. SkyWest, the Delta Connection, transitioned
its fleet from 19-passenger Metros to 30-passenger cabin
class EMB120 Brasilias. SkyWest also initiated jet service
with Delta in 1994, when the 50-passnger Canadair Regional
Jets were ordered and put online for use in South Dakota,
Wyoming, and Montana. |

| EMBRAER |
| |
The world’s
fourth largest manufacturer of commercial jet aircraft.
SkyWest utilizes the Embraer manufactured EMB 120 turboprop
Brasilia. The aircraft meant more than the addition of
flight attendants to SkyWest’s workforce when the
first aircraft came online in 1986. It offered a seamless
product to SkyWest’s partners – adding InFlight
amenities and additional comfort for passengers, and the
additional safety and service brought by SkyWest’s
InFlight division. |
