James K. Boyd: VP of Customer Service

James K. Boyd is the Vice President of Customer Service for SkyWest Airlines. Jim has been with SkyWest since 1984, but began his career in the aviation industry in 1981 as a front line employee with Sun Aire. At SkyWest, Jim has served as a Station Manager in Yuma, Arizona, and as Director of Stations based at the airline's corporate headquarters in St. George, Utah.

In August of 1991, he was promoted to his current position of Vice President. Jim is responsible for the safe and compliant operation of all SkyWest stations and contracted stations, coordinating the development and implementation of major operational procedures and policies. He oversees more than 3,700 customer service employees located in 53 SkyWest-operated stations. His area of responsibility extends to ground equipment, properties and facilities, station personnel training and customer relations.

He and his wife, Sylvia, live in St. George, Utah and are the parents of a daughter and son.
